Computer/console games Empty Computer/console games

Post by Reverend Red Tue Jan 20, 2009 1:52 pm

I just started playing Diablo 2 (and Lord of Destruction) after several years. That brought to mind, I should probably play other games as well. I've been on a diet of Neverwinter Nights and Heroes of Might and Magic 3 for like... years, plus the occasional Mario Kart (64 and Wii) and Soul Calibur (III & IV) when the opportunity comes.

Recommend and remember games here. For recommendations for me personally, you need to keep in mind that my '01-dated computer lags with NWN and D2. I'm so HC.

Princess Maker 2. *fapfapfap*

Mere jest, it's actually quite a well-made game.

I'm still fairly unconvinced. The whole interactive story game thing hasn't really opened to me. I like numbers in games.

We've gotten this far without mentioning Tetris. I call that a miracle.

If Princess Maker 2 is truly fapworthy, I shall look into it.

Well, you can fap to it, but it's basically a game where you raise a magical daughter, so moral issues exist.

Team fortress 2, call of duty 4 and nwn have been my staples with the occasional toss in of something odd like the demo for F.E.A.R. 2.(which keeps crashing on me, darn demos)

Hmm, demos. I haven't played those in ages. Maybe not even since the second millennium.

Yeah it is sad. You never know what games are good now days without trying them out with pirating first then buying them. Too many games claim to be great then suck miserably like Crysis(had some neat ideas and good graphics...but gameplay/storyline/bugs were really miserable.)

Play older games, at least they have some content. Well, I'll grant that a couple of the newer games are good, like Fallout 3, but the ratio of solid to shit has gone down in the past ten years.

Or since the first millennium. I still remember the rudimentary versions of chess.
